Your Headshot Session

A single headshot session includes one look and one professionally finished digital image. Additional images and looks are available.

A look is one wardrobe and photographic setup.

You select your finished image, with guidance from me if desired.

Finishing and Delivery

Professional finishing includes natural skin retouching, temporary blemish removal, stray-hair cleanup, and other minor corrections. I do not alter facial or body geometry or provide extensive image manipulation.

Finished images are delivered electronically within two business days. A version prepared for printing is available on request.

RAW files, proofs, and other images from the session are not included. Please safeguard your finished files; future availability is not guaranteed.

Payment and Scheduling

Payment is required before photography begins and may be made in advance or at the session.

Please give at least 24 hours' notice when possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late arrivals may shorten the session or require rescheduling.

Advance payments will be refunded if a canceled session cannot be rescheduled. Once a session has been photographed, payment is not refundable.

Using Your Headshot

You may use your finished headshot to represent yourself personally and professionally, including on social media, websites, professional profiles, employer materials, publications, events, interviews, and similar uses. You may provide it to organizations that need a photograph of you for these purposes.

Marc Santos Photography retains the copyright. The photograph may not be re-licensed or substantially altered. Cropping, resizing, and reformatting for normal use are permitted.

The photograph may not be used unlawfully or in a way that falsely suggests my endorsement of a person, organization, product, cause, or message.

Your Privacy and Image Use

Permission for me to use your image in my portfolio, on social media, or in advertising and marketing is separate from your headshot purchase. You may decline any of these uses.

I take reasonable measures to safeguard client information and photographs and do not sell client information. I cannot guarantee the security of third-party services or circumstances outside my reasonable control.

Before Your Session

Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Please arrange in advance if you would like to bring a companion.

There are steps required to enter the building, and it is not wheelchair accessible. Please contact me before booking if you have accessibility requirements that may affect your session.

Smoking is not permitted inside or anywhere on the property. Pets are not permitted on the property.

Unexpected Problems

If a technical problem on my end prevents delivery of your image, I will reshoot without an additional session fee.

If circumstances outside either person's reasonable control prevent a session from being completed, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule.

I may stop a session if circumstances make it unsafe or impractical to continue.
